What can I say… I think I’m funny, definitely chatty and I love my PJs!
I am one of those people who come home from work and whatever time of day it is have to put my pjs straight on. I adore sleep (and need it or I am moody the next day ?). I am a fighter – strong and determined. I love to sing but I am a so bad at it (no, really). Today I am more confident than I have ever been. I am appreciative and grateful for those around me. I am a super mum to four beautiful children, Megan, Willow, Cody and little Oscar. I am a wife to the most amazing, hardworking and supportive husband. I am the eldest of four siblings, the other three are super annoying! I love them all dearly and of course my parents who have always been there for me. I am the coolest Aunt (well, I like to think so). I am lucky to have amazing in-laws and always show their support for me and my family.
I grew up in London. Always on the move and life not slowing down for a breath. I worked in the healthcare sector for some years and after meeting my husband and having children, we knew it was time to move from the busy chaotic life we lead.
And here we are in beautiful Portugal.
Portugal is an incredible place to live and raise your children. I love to go on long walks and enjoy the Portuguese culture. I have made so many friends here and some I call family. I’m a non biological auntie.
I am extremely passionate about teaching yoga. It is important to me to continue learning and sharing my passion and I am really proud of how far I have come. I enjoy every minute of my yoga journey.
I absolutely love food! Its been just over a year since I began a plant-based diet. I try to stick to this as much as I can but I am only human and do have foods that don’t strictly fall into the ‘plant-based’ category. I hate to label the way I eat but its the best way I can describe it most of the time. My diet used to be terrible when I lived in the UK. Mindful eating sort of slipped my mind. Now is a totally different story. I eat as healthily as I can, for my health and to set a good example for my kids.
The advice online for writing a bio is to talk about things like – ‘what gets you up in the morning?’ Well… my dog for a start. Making a load of noise until someone let’s him out for a wee. My alarm that might as well scream out, “its school time”. But what really gets me up in the morning is my family and my passion for yoga.
