We begin with gentle Hatha Yoga postures (asanas) to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, and release tension, always respecting each woman’s rhythm and needs. Relaxation (savasana) helps to promote rest and recovery, while breathing techniques (pranayama) are introduced to deepen the connection with the breath and prepare for birth in a nurturing, safe space for mothers at every stage of their journey.

Monica completed her yoga training in 2002 and has been living in Loulé ever since. She is a mother of two, and has a passion for sharing the benefits of yoga with diverse communities. She has been teaching prenatal yoga since 2008, alongside regular classes for children, adults, and individuals with special needs. Her approach is inclusive, nurturing, and adapted to support each student’s unique journey.
